Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, development, and implementation of data pipelines for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL)
- Collaborate with team members to integrate and consolidate data from various sources, ensuring data quality and consistency
- Contribute to the maintenance and optimization of our data warehousing solutions, including data modeling and schema design
- Assist in data cleansing and transformation tasks to prepare data for analysis and reporting
- Participate in monitoring and troubleshooting data pipelines and systems to ensure data integrity and optimal performance
- Support the implementation of data governance practices, security measures, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand their data needs and provide them with clean, reliable data sets.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends in the field of data engineering, and suggest innovative ideas to improve data processes
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
- Familiarity with SQL and experience working with relational databases
- Basic understanding of data modeling concepts and data warehousing principles
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for working with data
- Ability to communicate effectively and work well within a team
