The Purpose of This Role
The Principal – Software Engineering will be working in development and delivery of high quality, timely and maintainable software solutions in an agile environment which meet functional and non-functional business requirements. This role will be a part of high business value delivery in Fixed Income Bond Area.

Keeps current with IT blueprint, frameworks and technologies that would benefit us and improve our productivity; guides junior team members on technology.

Follows practices and contribute towards innovative solutions to increase productivity.
The Skills That Are Key To This Role
Technical / Behavioral
You have proficiency in Core Java, J2EE, Spring
You have proficiency in Web Services (REST)
You have proficiency in ORM Framework(myBatis/Hibernate)
You have proficiency in Multithreading and Java design patterns
You have considerable experience working on cloud development; preferrably on AWS
You have experience working on Event Driven architecture with any middleware technology; preferrably on KAFKA
You have worked in Test Automation
You know SQL proficiency (Oracle experience preferred)
You know Unix and Shell scripting basics
You know Unit Testing
You know Build Technologies (Maven/Gradel)
You know Version Control System (Git/SVN)
You know Agile methodologies or iterative development processes
You should have experience with matured Agile SCRUM practices
You should be familiar with usage of design patterns, threads and their application
You should be working with teams to help them find use case for innovation
You should have the ability to work effectively with both partners and project team members
You Coach team members and take accountability for the deliverables
You have Excellent collaboration and Interpersonal skills

The Skills that are good to have for this role
Experience in any Angular UI development
Experience in any one emerging technology i.e. Cloud, Machine Learning, Robotics or AI
