The Finhub team is working towards automation of financial processes in Coinbase. We look for opportunities to work with the finance team and reduce the operational overhead. This involves setting up data pipelines ingesting millions of events, providing apis and UI tooling to automate manual processes.
Your core set of responsibilities would include:
Work with finance team to understand the manual processes
Develop and implement engineering excellence processes in Finhub platform
Creating data pipelines and providing apis to automate manual processes
Coinbase is seeking experienced backend engineers to join the team to build out the next generation of crypto-forward products and features. You will solve unique, large scale, highly complex technical problems, bridging the constraints posed by web-scale applications and blockchain technology. You will help the Coinbase group build the next generation of systems to make digital assets and blockchain cryptocurrency accessible across the globe, operating real-time applications with high frequency, low latency updates, and managing the most secure, dockerized infrastructure running in the cloud.
What you’ll be doing:
● Provide support to Coinbase group companies by building new services to meet critical product and business needs using Golang.
● Create Databricks pipelines using Apache Spark and Hive.
● Write high quality, well tested code to meet the needs of the Coinbase customers.
What we look for in you:
● You have at least 3 years of experience in software engineering.
● You have designed, built, scaled and maintained production services, and know how to compose a service oriented architecture.
● You write high quality, well tested code to meet the needs of your customers.
● You’re passionate about building an open financial system that brings the world together.
Nice to haves:
● You have gone through a rapid growth in your company (from startup to mid-size).
● You have experience with Databricks and Apache Spark.
● You have worked with Golang, Docker, MongoDB or DynamoDB.
